Hello Barbara! I am researching my husbands HUDSON family, who are originally from Jefferson County, GA (at least since the late 1700's). One family member said that half of the HUDSON clan moved to Texas after the War Of Northern Aggression. Y'all could be related! The Hudson page is simply great. Just starting my genealogy research and couldn't resist the Hudson name. Amelia and Hall Hudson, Sr. had a son named Byrd Hudson b. 9/8/1792 who married Mary Beddingfield on 1/3/1811....so you MAY not be the right Hudson
s..that is unless my Amelia is an older generation.

My ancestors were Hugh D. and Elizabeth O. Watson, born in Kansas and Missouri in 1857 and 1858. I know almost nothing about either family. Hugh was born in Doniphan County, Kansas and Elizabeth was born in St. Joseph, Mo. Her family reportedly came from
ndiana. My father, Jess McGee Hudson, was born in Mullen, Idaho, but lived in South Dakota and Nebraska most of his life. He was the youngest of five children: Hugh (Jr.), Melvin, Maud and Dorothy were the others. I would love to hear from anyone who may

Hello, I was searching the web to find out about my family and my grandmother was Martha Lou Hudson from Missouri. She had two brothers and one sister that lived in Houston. We have family that are out of Columbus, Texas. We used to have family reunion
there. My grandparents lived in southern Missouri where I was born. Mt. Pleasant, Missouri. Are we related? All I know that I have a lot of Hudson family here in Texas.

and Edith Emily b. 1868.
Ameila died 4 Dec 1904 in Vermilion OH and is buried with her husband and kin in Maple Grove Cemetery. Her daughter's daughter and children are still in Vermilion.
