U.S. CENSUS DATA

The Census data on this page were extracted by myself, Joseph Bayless, Ves Box and Harry Nelms. My grateful appreciation to the contributors. This information also includes some data for BENNETT, FRANKLIN, HUDSON, TUNNELL and WISE because these families are associated with my BAYLESS ancestors.

All "NOTES" were added by myself as were all notations in parentheses ( ). All census information was extracted from the U.S. Census microfilms.

The young boarder, Annie Head was adopted by William and Malinda and grew up to be a
school teacher in Walker Co. She married James Shahan. There is an article about William
in Sartain's History of Walker Co. Vol 1.
